Tonight all I wanted was a cookie. I’m not one to deprive myself but when I eat anything with wheat in it my mind plays tricks on me. Most people think when you’re allergic to something that it makes you sick. That’s not always the case. When I eat bread or anything with wheat in it, my mind gets uneasy and I get anxious. The only reason I know this is from years of nutrition and cutting certain things out of my diet.
Any who. I decided to instead make myself a tasty little dessert smoothie. Excellent choice.
I threw a pretty ripe banana, two cups of unsweetened almond milk, a small handful of spinach, a big spoonful of peanut butter and a tablespoon of chia seeds into the blender. (not much different than what I make for breakfast but still desserty)
Here’s what I created:
It came out much lighter than my super spinachy breakfast monster…but it was pretty and delish. And oh baby it hit the spot.
Now I’m gonna get in my bed and relax since I finally get a day off tomorrow! Goodnighttttt
