3/60 Happy Hour
So for anyone who has been clinging to my site, staring and waiting for my own personal photo challenge to continue, please hold. With really harsh sunlight, crazy dark cloud-covers, and dead batteries, luck hasn’t been on my side. I am still gung-ho about photographing life, but give me a few days to get into a pattern. Slow start.
On another note, I’m back in the blogging world! I can’t tear myself away from my computer (or phone depending where I am) because I finally have the time to obsess over my favorite people again.
My new favorite couple (& family) are Sherry and John from Young House Love. Apparently everyone reads their blog and no one ever told me to! Come on you guys. Im obsessed with their two fully renovated homes (they are on lucky number 3!), and their laid-back, super relaxed outlook on life. Its really refreshing. They make me want to run out and buy a house that needs lots of love. I also made sure to tell my best friend about it immediately. She has always been a crafty DIY-er and she fell in love with them too. (She also just bought a super cute little house with her new hubby that she wants to do a lot of work too.)
I am also still obsessed with A Beautiful Mess. (I also mentioned them here and here.) These girls are just so crafty and light-hearted, I want to be friends with them.
Its super rainy here today and I’ve been moving fairly slow. Im sifting through my closet trying to get rid of more and more clothes. This seems to be my new favorite hobby.. but the space never seems to get emptier! It feels so great and healthy to get rid of three or four bags of clothes though, especially when you can donate them or give them to friends.
What are you doing this weekend?
Hey guys. Hopefully some of you are still out there…. waiting for me to post. It’s been quite a while. Over two months. I haven’t forgotten, its been haunting me that I haven’t been writing, just been too busy or tired to even start thinking of writing something.
Work has finally died down, but now the next project starts. Christmas. Yes, I know its 6 months away, but 6 months is barely enough time for us to price, organize, set-up and display the thousands of decorations and such that we handle. To me, Christmas doesn’t mean a holiday anymore, it means a huge project to tackle.
Anyway. I am writing just to write. I have no topic.. just trying to get myself back into the groove of blogging. I really love it, I just need to get my brain back into that mode I guess. I haven’t even been reading blogs!
So since I’ve been gone what have I been doing?
Taking lots of pictures and maintaining our social media for our garden center, working outside all day… even on my days off I’ve been helping one of my friends who designs gardens. I’ve been galavanting back and forth between college friends houses and home, driving straight to them after work and spending weekends. And trying to find a little bit of time for myself in between it all. Summer seems to get away from you, doesn’t it?
Here’s a random photo mash-up of life lately.
If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably already seen a bunch of these pictures… Instagram is one of my favorite places to be.. so if you haven’t found me yet, you should… my screen name is krtaylor88. I hope you find me so I can follow you back!
I’ll be back soon.. I have all kinds of ideas spinning through my mind and I’ll have to write them all down soon enough.
See you all soon!
